At Surfboard Gears, we want you to be totally stoked with your purchase. If your gear isn’t riding the wave of your expectations, we’ve got your back with our hassle-free returns policy.

Our Return Policy

You can return most items within 15 days of receiving your order. Items must be:

  • In original condition (unused, with tags attached)
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Surf Wax (opened or used products)
  • Traction Pads (if removed from backing)
  • Custom or personalized items

How to Return an Item

Follow these simple steps to ride the return wave:

  1. Request Authorization: Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return within 15 days of delivery.
  2. Wait for Approval: Our surf-obsessed team will review your request within 2 business days and send return instructions.
  3. Package It Up: Securely pack your item(s) using the original packaging.
  4. Ship It Back: Send the package to our warehouse (we’ll provide the address). Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
  5. Get Refunded: Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days.

Exchange Process

Want to swap for a different size or style? No problem!

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Include a note specifying what you’d like to exchange for
  3. We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return (additional shipping charges may apply)

Refund Information

Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive your return. It may take 3-10 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment method and bank.

Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you paid with PayPal, it will be refunded to your PayPal account.

Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

International Returns

For our global surf family (excluding Asia and certain remote areas), return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Please note that international returns may take longer to process due to customs procedures.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your gear arrives damaged or defective, email us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage and your order number. We’ll arrange a free replacement or refund.
